Quick-Out Karabiners (a.k.a. Quick-Outs)
Quick-Outs can be used for separating the pilot from their paraglider after using a steerable reserve parachute.
Most Acro harnesses accept these karabiners and are recommended when using a Beamer reserve.
Quick-Outs are also used by some tandem paraglider pilots as a safety back-up to prevent getting dragged in strong winds.
Quick-Outs have also proven invaluable in helicopter operations for police, military and mountain rescue.
